Prestigious International Awards Program Recognizes Outstanding Educational Technology Products and Companies

Mountain View, CA, June 6, 2024 — CrisisGo, a leading provider of school safety solutions, today announced that its CrisisGo's Safety Intervention Manager 2.0 has been selected as winner of the “Student Safety Innovation Award” in the 6th annual EdTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by EdTech Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies and solutions in the global educational technology market.

CrisisGo's Safety Intervention Manager 2.0 excels in the prevention stage of emergency management, emphasizing proactive measures to ensure school safety. The solution equips schools to identify and mitigate risks before they escalate. Its advanced features enable schools to assess and address potential threats at an early stage.

The solutions’ sophisticated intake and validation process distinguishes real threats from false alarms, and the software's structured approach to defining roles within multidisciplinary teams ensures that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of their responsibilities in the threat assessment process. It includes integrated, early and anonymous real-time two-way reporting through various communication methods, behavioral intervention management, and threat and concerning behavior identification and management, with the ability to intervene at the appropriate level for each case.

Additionally, Safe2SpeakUp is a tailored safety application for students that reports incidents like suspicious activities, and bullying, discloses those at risk for suicide or the presence of weapons. Students can report concerns anonymously and establish communication with a member of the safety team. The app includes discipline and intervention case management that follows students throughout their academic careers.

Safety Intervention Manager 2.0 allows teams to simplify the process of conducting thorough student threat assessments by digitizing the information. Users can collaborate to develop comprehensive targeted violence prevention plans that align with a school's processes and procedures or use Federal NTAC guidelines or other established national programs. The platform allows for the receipt of tips from students, parents, and staff about threats found. Safety Team Members can access report details, mark threat levels, monitor progress, and export the final report.

We believe that our proactive approach to student and staff behavioral success can engage students, parents, staff, and the entire school community in risk discovery - from behavior and discipline issues to threats of violence against themselves or others. We are incredibly pleased to receive this award from EdTech Breakthrough and we will continue to dedicate ourselves to pioneering proactive safety solutions in the education sector and maintain our strong commitment to preemptive safety strategies.
