As you plan for this year and the school year ahead, what decisions will you make around in-person instruction? This is a question I’ve received a lot the past few months and a popular topic in teacher Clubhouse rooms I’ve listened into this winter. If you are thinking through how to finish up the school year with 2021-2022 in mind, I’d love for you to join me for a special event.
Next week, I’m hosting a webinar titled “How To Support Students Returning to In-Person Instruction in 2021.” It’s a free event, and you’re invited!

How To Support Students Returning to In-Person Instruction in 2021
As we move into the second half of the 2020-2021 school year, it’s a good time to pause, reflect, and make a plan for the fall. Join Dr. Monica Burns for a webinar on how to support students returning to in-person instruction in 2021. This past year has been full of challenges, and it’s important to notice both obstacles and success stories and how they impact our decision making for teaching and learning in the future. In this session, you’ll hear about:
I’m excited to lead this webinar hosted by the folks at CrisisGo. If you haven’t heard of CrisisGo before, they provide schools and districts with solutions to improve safety for a healthy learning environment.
Their safety technology supports schools and districts as they respond to emergencies. This includes helping prevent a crisis with threat assessments and risk audits, to better prepare for potential problems with digital safety procedures. When you dive into the platform, you can learn more about their rapid alert and the ability to access automatic reporting, too.
In addition to the digital safety platform from CrisisGo, they also have a new tool called Safety iPass. CrisisGo created this new tool specifically to address concerns on safety issues related to COVID-19. Safety iPass includes data management consisting of pre-screening and entry process management and actionable reporting and contact tracing capabilities. With these features, you can manage close contact tracing and even share data with local health departments.
You can learn about CrisisGo on their website, and this link will take you out to a page with more details about Safety iPass.
I hope you’ll join us for this new webinar on Wednesday, February 10th at 1 PM ET. As we think through the second half of this school year and look forward to the fall, I’ll share ideas to keep in mind as we move closer to in-person instruction. Use this link to grab your spot!
